Lala Rue's is named after my first born - a nickname that I had intended for my beautiful Isabella Rue; unfortunately, this adorable nickname never quite caught on. We've called her Bella since the day she was born (not that that's not a fine nickname either, of course)! My daughters are in elementary school now and I regret that I never brushed up on my sewing skills to hand craft their bibs and burp cloths! They both were department store babies from the get-go and boutique-type items were always out of my price range.

When I became pregnant with my third baby girl (hence :a 3 girls boutique: ), I became engrossed with my new sewing machine. I created bibs, burp cloths, little dresses and more while we awaited for the arrival of our precious one.
In the end (and also my last efforts to save the lovely nickname we never used), Lala Rue's was born!
